Meghan Markle had always been a good public speaker even before she met and married Prince Harry. The Duchess of Sussex even delivered a speech to a United Nations Women’s Conference about gender equality years before she became a part of the Royal Family.
Now, Meghan Markle will be doing what she does best after signing a deal for speaking engagements with New York-based Harry Walker Agency. The agency that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed up for is the same one as former US president Barack Obama.
That being said, royal author Ingrid Seward insisted that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should “up their ante” as people would be expecting a lot from them. She said that no one wants to hear the Duke and Duchess of Sussex talking about gender equality and the environment, so they have to talk about their life in the Royal Family.
“Harry and Meghan will really have to up their ante, and they will absolutely have to tell some stories about the Royal Family,” Ingrid Seward said.
Meanwhile, part of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision of stepping down as senior royals is for them to be “financially independent.” Since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no longer working royals, they have all the time in the world to look for ways to earn for themselves.
Billionaire business leaders are more than willing to invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to be guest speakers at next year's World Economic Forum in Davos. The event, which will be attended by some of the world’s most influential people, would be an ideal platform for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to promote their brand.
Royal experts believe that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could easily net a £1 Billion if they strike the right balance between corporate deals and brand ambassador roles. This would be the perfect option for them as they seek to secure their financial independence.
Previous reports revealed that there is a possibility that Meghan Markle will return to Hollywood. An insider claimed that the former actress is “actively looking” for an agent or manager.
There were also claims that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be creating their own TV firm. Rumor has it that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be providing voiceovers and producing documentaries on “worthy causes,” and this is where they will be earning their money.
