The third season of Siren has concluded form over a month now. But until now, Freeform hasn't yet officially announced the renewal status of Siren season 4. Usually, the announcement happens a few weeks after the season finale aired. Hence, fans need to wait for now.

But according to CarterMatt, the renewal announcement of Siren season 4 might be delayed this time around, considering the current global health crisis. The situation makes the negotiation trickier since there are a lot of uncertainties at the moment.

It also seems like Freeform isn't in a hurry to renew the series. After all, if ever the renewal happens, filming won't likely start anytime soon. The top priorities now are the health and safety of everyone on set. Cast and crew could start with their work when the situation gets a little bit better.

Even though there's still no renewal of Siren season 4, Freeform is still promoting the series on social media and urging people to watch it on Hulu. This is a positive sign that the network is considering the show's future. The streaming platform numbers could also further ensure the renewal.

In addition, the series is one of the top-rated shows on Freeform. It managed to keep loyal viewers hooked, thanks to its thrilling visuals and exciting twists despite the limited budget. So, there's a high chance the new season will happen, and Siren season 4 will probably arrive at some point in 2021.

The season 3 finale saw Ryn and Ben launching an underwater battle against sea monster Tia and her mermaid tribes to save humanity, as well as Hope. On the other hand, Xander's condition deteriorates, so Rob and Maddie tried to find a cure.

Meanwhile, Helen and the hybrids worked together to calm the residents if Bristol Cove and put things back in order. And as for Ted, he was shocked when he learned that his son Ben has superhuman powers. All of these events would be picked up in the potential new installment.

In Siren season 4, the humans and merpeople could join hands to repair the damage caused by Tia and her army. Ryn could train her daughter Hope how to save herself from the challenges coming in the future. Ben could help his father in understanding more of his powers. Lastly, they might have to deal with a new threat when the fourth installment arrives.
