Prince William and Kate Middleton have always been praised for how they raised their three young children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Being the future King and Queen Consort, the couple has a very hectic schedule, but they always see to it to make their kids their top priority.

While completing their royal duties, Prince William and Kate Middleton are also doing their jobs as parents to their three young children. In fact, the couple is homeschooling their older kids Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Prince William and Kate Middleton also still managed to be hands-on parents despite their multiple royal obligations. And just like most parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also have some rules and techniques in raising their children.

Prince William and Kate Middleton always consider their kids’ ages. The couple wants Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to grow up with good morals, but they want them to enjoy their childhood as well.

And just because they are royal children, that does not mean that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are well-behaved every single day. Of course, they also do naughty things like most kids do.

But instead of punishing them, Prince William and Kate Middleton introduced the “chat sofa.” Here the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will talk to their kids and ask what is upsetting them. They want to understand their children’s needs in order to resolve the issue through an open discussion.

When the kids express their anger, Prince William and Kate Middleton will immediately send them to the sofa. The kids are then encouraged to talk about their feelings while the couple applies “emotional coaching” to help them with their emotions.

"They express their concerns over school subjects, a swimming class, a tricky ballet maneuver, a missed tennis rally, or seeing children starving on a TV ad. But a talk ensues and a solution found,” the source said.

Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their children are currently staying at Anmer Hall in Norfolk during the lockdown. The family’s country mansion was a wedding present from Queen Elizabeth. They were told to enjoy their time at the place as they may not be able to do so in the future as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge take more royal duties.

Two weeks ago, Prince William finally had his first official royal duty outside their family home. The Duke of Cambridge visited the King’s Lynn Ambulance to talk to the ambulance staff. While observing the social distancing protocol, the future king praised the staff and even shared with them his favorite hobby during the coronavirus lockdown, which is baking.
