Princess Beatrice is, reportedly, planning to move to Italy with her fiancé Edo Mapelli Mozzi because of the scandal brought on by her father, Prince Andrew. A royal author claimed that the York princess and her partner would like to "get away from it all."

Royal expert Phil Dampier said that Princess Beatrice has had to deal with a lot this year. She, reportedly, had to keep her royal wedding postponed because of her father's scandal and links to the pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Dampier speculates that it will no longer be surprising for Princess Beatrice to decide to move to her husband's homeland. She hasn't been spending her time in lockdown with her own family and is actually isolating with Edo and her future mother-in-law, Nikki Shale, at Chipping Norton.

Edo comes from noble Italian family, where Princess Beatrice could be regarded and given a title as countess. She also doesn't have to work to earn her keep, if she does move abroad, as Edo has a multimillion-pound property business that can be managed wherever they live.

Princess Beatrice and Edo announced their engagement in September 2019. Two months later, their happy news was overshadowed by her father's scandal after he did that BBC interview, which received a public backlash. The Duke of York was forced to step back from his royal duties that November and pretty much hid from public life and avoided royal family gatherings, including his daughter's engagement party.

On top of this, the York princess was supposed to have exchanged vows with her fiancé on May 29. However, because of the coronavirus pandemic, Princess Beatrice and Edo decided to postpone their wedding since large gatherings have been prohibited in the U.K. amid the risks of virus transmission. Her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, could also not attend her wedding.

Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice teamed up with her younger sister Princess Eugenie in a video conference call with the Teenage Cancer Trust. The York sisters are honorary patrons of the charity and they wanted to check in on some of the people who have been receiving the organization's support.

One young woman they talked to revealed that she's inspired by the royal sisters, especially Princess Eugenie, who recently showed off the huge scar on her back following a scoliosis operation. She said that Princess Eugenie's gesture gave her body confidence.

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie also listened to some of the testimonies of the charity's nurses and coordinators. They have been dealing with issues like delayed appointments and protecting themselves from the risks of COVID-19.
