Wynonna Earp season 4 is set to arrive later this month on Syfy. We'll be seeing the titular character back in action, with some photos teasing new threats are coming. But apart from exploring her stories, other characters' storylines are worth-exploring as well.
For instance, the relationship between Waverly Earp and Nicole Haught -- also known as WayHaught -- is one of the most interesting parts of the series. In Wynonna Earp season 4, we could see their story further evolve as they take on new challenges.
Waverly and Nicole are one of the best couples out there; they are supportive, loving, and serve as a hope for other people. They always fight hard for each other, but then, more threats are coming and it could further test their relationship.
In a report via TVLine, showrunner Emily Andras has something to say about the two, which is a bit concerning. She teased that in Wynonna Earp season 4, WayHaught will fight like hell to get a happily ever after. They'll do whatever it takes to get back together -- but there are consequences.
While these consequences may have nothing to do with their relationship, it could still test how strong they are as a couple. There are problems lurking around and some of these threats could be demonic. It's exciting to see what will WayHaught do just to have a happy ending that they deserve.
As for what else is coming, the synopsis of Wynonna Earp season 4 noted that the titular character must rescue everyone she loves and save the town of Purgatory. She needs to take on her most diabolical, Earp-hating enemy without the help of her trustworthy gun, Peacemaker.
Some first images of the new installment also featured Wynonna, Waverly, Nicole, and Doc in action. We're going to see a new series of adventure, along with exciting stories and unexpected twists and turns. The promo further teased almost everything -- from meta moments to demon hunting.
The series stars Melanie Scrofano as Wynonna Earp, Dominique Provost-Chalkley as Waverly Earp, Katherine Barrell as Officer Nicole Haught, Tim Rozon as Doc Holliday, and Shamier Anderson as Deputy Marshal Xavier Dolls.
Wynonna Earp season 4 will premiere on Sunday, July 26, on Syfy. The new season will then continue airing until August 30 before going on a hiatus. Production was halted Due to the current global health crisis. It remains to be seen when filming will kick-off again.
