Blindspot season 5 episode 9 is set to arrive this week on NBC, with the title Brass Tacks." In this episode, the team is in a perilous situation and the fate of most of the members is in question. There is also a question as to whether or not Patterson is still alive.
Entering Blindspot season 5 episode 9, we're going to see the team in a tight spot while also dealing with the death of Patterson. It remains to be seen if she managed to escape and go somewhere safe. Although it's unlikely she survives, the series tends to bring unexpected surprises.
There have been speculations that Patterson is alive and just faked her own death. It can be recalled that when Rich asked her whether she has another plan, she responded she always has "Plan B." Perhaps, she exercised this plan and managed to save herself from the destruction.
Meanwhile, Jane, Weller, and others are feeling desperate because of their situation. The team was held captive by Madeline, who's willing to do whatever she can to destroy them. What Jane needs to do now is to take responsibility for everything to ensure the safety of everyone else.
If she believes that this is the only path for her, then she'll likely choose to take this path. But then, someone may also appear to fight and save the team. Patterson could save them, is ever she's still alive. There are a lot of things going on from here, especially since we're nearing the series finale.
The synopsis of Blindspot season 5 episode 9 notes that the surviving team members have been captured and held in custody. And while Madeline and Ivy are in the final stage of their plan, a few unlikely allies come out and will try to stop her before it's too late.
Madeline might blackmail the team into confessing the crimes she actually committed, which includes the impending execution of the chemical weapon. This weapon could wipe out the memories of the citizens and Madeline can control them.
Matthew can help the team out, but that will only be possible if he gathers all his courage to fight against Madeline. We could also expect other faces appearing to help the agents. They're likely hiding in the shadow and are planning to attack Madeline.
