Blindspot season 5 episode 7 is set to arrive this week on NBC, with the title "Awl In." Within this episode, we're going to see Kurt Weller put in a tough position and has to make a wise decision. This is the most precarious situation we've seen from him so far.
The promo of Blindspot season 5 episode 7 teased what's coming for Weller and it's clear that a lot of things could play out here. Madeline, in particular, is trying to use Bethany's mother -- his ex-wife, Allie -- so that she could get Weller to turn himself in.
The situation seemed inevitable, given that Bethany has been hospitalized this season. Madeline is willing to do whatever she can just to destroy the team -- she is ruthless and violent. She could manipulate almost every people around Jane and the team.
Based on the clip, Madeline summoned Allie for interrogation and told her to asked Weller to turn himself in. Madeline also threatened the team by sending a video featuring Allie, in which she's informing that team about the dangers looming around Bethany's life.
Since there are only a few more episodes left, things could get even more intense than ever. Madeline is clearly manipulating Bethany's mother and it looks like the former is getting closer to her plan. But then, it's also clear that Weller will go to any lengths just to save his daughter.
The situation sends the team into a downward spiral, though it remains to be seen whether or not Weller will turn himself in. Perhaps, the team could stop him from acting irrationally and messing things up. There's also a possibility Allie hints the team through the video to help them track Madeline down.
As for what else is coming in Blindspot season 5 episode 7, Jane and the team tried to stop Madeline from sending over ZIP to the US by going undercover and distracting her son. The team splits up into a high-stakes mission so they could intercept Madeline's son.
Madeline is the Big Bad in the series' final run; she causes chaos among different characters. One of her main goals is to move up her political ranks. She is willing to do whatever she can to make this happen. And within this episode, things get more intense between her and the team.
