Neymar is said to ready to rejoin the club he left in 2017 for Paris Saint-Germain following reports that the Brazilian signing up with Barcelona in the summer will get the support of the French side. Neymar could finally make the jump back to Spain on the strength of his prior agreement with the PSG hierarchy.

The informal deal, which was agreed upon after the South American's botched attempt to reunite with Barca in the summer of 2019, called for Neymar to play one more season with the Parisians and give his 100% for the campaign.

The PSG ace, it would appear, delivered on his end of the bargain. Neymar scored 18 goals in leading his side to secure the Ligue 1 title and is all geared up to win for PSG the Champions League. By all accounts, the Brazilian superstar has delivered on his end of the bargain, and according to AS, the Parisians are honor-bound to give his ticket back to La Liga.

However, it is imperative on Barca's side to make an offer that Parc des Princes will find impossible to resist. The report added that the ball is now on the Spanish side. It's up to them to make the Neymar re-signing a reality, the report added.

As suggested by media reports in France, Barcelona completing the Neymar transfer will greatly depend on specific conditions, and one is that the Catalans must be willing to pay the salary that the Brazilian is currently getting from PSG.

Also, PSG will still demand a hefty price for the agreement to roll, and it has to be no lower than €170 million. But the buying team can bring down the cost by offering a package that would see players from the Barca roster heading to Paris in exchange for Neymar.

The names mentioned to date were that of Ousmane Dembele and Antoine Griezmann. Both are French nationals and should be easily convinced to make way back to the homeland, and they are high-profile players that could persuade PSG to give a sizeable discount to Barcelona.

Offering his view on the possible deal, Rivaldo said including Dembele to the Neymar offer sheet is a wise move on Barca's part. The decision will turn out as mutually beneficial for all parties concerned, added the Barcelona legend.

On PSG's part, the club will be getting a player that is long-rumored a priority acquisition and has the qualities to fill the void that Neymar's departure will create.

"Dembele could see it as a good move, as he will have the chance to rediscover his best form and become one of PSG's star players," Express reported Rivaldo as saying.

The Barca hero seemed to refer to Dembele's struggle to make a mark in Camp Nou since transferring from Bundesliga three seasons ago. Rivaldo suggested that the France international could get his second win starring for the Parisians.
