If there is someone that Donald Trump is scared of, it could be his wife, Melania. Pulitzer Prize-winning author Mary Jordan shared more stories about the dynamic of the president and first lady's relationship.

In a recent interview with BBC, author Jordan talked about her recent book about FLOTUS, titled The Art Of Her Deal. Jordan told BBC anchor Andrew Marr that Melania has far more power than many people have realized.

Many may have already known by now about how Melania took advantage of this power when she delayed her move to the White House when Trump won the election and took office in January 2017. Melania chose to stay in New York City not only because of her son Barron's schooling but also she negotiated her prenuptial agreement.

When asked if Trump was scared of his wife, Jordan said she believed so. She added that Melania holds a unique power over POTUS.

Jordan took as an example the Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin's talk during the Helsinki summit in July 2018. The author said Melania was the only person standing beside Trump during that important conversation and there wasn't even an American translator present in the room.

It could be recalled that after that closed-door meeting, Trump and Putin had a joint press conference where the former was asked about the accusations that Russia interfere with the U.S. election. Trump sided on Russia on that issue.

Jordan also dismissed the earlier claims that Melania cried on the night that Trump won the 2016 presidential election. The author said she spoke with the people who were with the new FLOTUS that night. They attested that the former model did not cry at all after her husband claimed victory over Hillary Clinton.

Jordan stressed that it isn't Melania's personality to cry when she's upset. She said when the mother-of-one is mad, she just disappears or gives Trump a silent treatment.

The Washington Post journalist also noted how smart Melania is. She said the first lady took to her advantage the rampant allegations of infidelity against Trump as she knew he needed her on his side.

Jordan also shared an interesting daily scene at the private residence of the First Family at the White House. Apparently, there were instances when Melania, Barron, and FLOTUS parents would all speak Slovenian. This, allegedly, makes the president crazy because he has no idea that they are talking about.
