First Lady Melania Trump's maternal instinct kicked in once again. FLOTUS slammed a Food Network show host for making an inappropriate comment about her only child, Barron Trump.

Food Network's Halloween Baking Championship host John Henson received backlash from some netizens and from Melania Trump after he poked fun of Barron's parentage on Twitter on Father's Day. In his tweet, Henson said the 14-year-old teen could spend the special day for dads with whoever his father is, suggesting that the president could not be Barron's father.

Apparently, Henson made the comment after the four older children of Donald Trump from his two previous marriages greeted him a happy Father's Day on social media. Ivanka Trump shared photos of her father along with her family.

Melania responded to Henson's tweet through her spokesperson Stephanie Grisham. In a statement, the First Lady stressed that a minor child should be allowed to grow without judgment or hate from anyone and the media.

It can be noted that this wasn't the first time that Henson targeted a member of the Trump family. Last week, he said Eric Trump's "looks like an argument against 'standardized testing'" and his eyes are so far apart that he has to turn his head to look at the person he is talking to.

Some social media users called for the Food Network to fire Henson from its show because of his tweets. However, there are also others who see nothing wrong with the baking show host's jokes.

Henson, on the other hand, defended himself on Twitter and claimed that his tweet in which he mentioned Barron was aimed at the president. He, however, said he respects the opinion of others who got mad at him. In a follow-up tweet, he apologized for his action.

Meanwhile, Melania has been known to be very protective of her son. She always stood up for Barron.

During the impeachment proceeding on her husband late last year, law professor Pamela Karlan made a comment about the youngest of all three presidential sons. Shortly after, Melania called out on Karlan for mentioning Barron during the hearing.

She tweeted that a minor child deserves privacy and should be kept out of politics. The Stanford law professor, later on, apologized.

Moreover, in the recently-released unauthorized biography of FLOTUS, titled The Art of Her Deal: The Untold Story of Melania Trump, author Mary Jordan revealed that Melania also looked after Barron's welfare before she agreed to move to the White House following Trump's victory in the 2016 elections. Apparently, the former model renegotiated her prenuptial agreement with the president to make sure that Barron would get an equal share of his father's estate with his four older half-siblings.
