Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump don't have the best stepmom-stepdaughter relationship. It was revealed in the new unauthorized biography of Melania that behind each other's back, the two have sarcastic nicknames for each other.

In Mary Jordan's new book, titled The Art of Her Deal: The Untold Story of Melania Trump, it was revealed that the First Lady of the United States was overheard calling the eldest daughter of Donald Trump "The Princess." It could be due to her privilege as a daughter of a real estate mogul and also possibly because many believe POTUS favors Ivanka more than her other siblings.

Ivanka, on the other hand, also has a nickname for her stepmother. According to Jordan, the senior advisor to the president called Melania "The Portrait." Apparently, when Ivanka was younger, she told her classmates that she called the girlfriend of her father "The Portrait" because the former model rarely speaks.

White House spokesman Judd Deere already denied the claims made in the book. He said those were "totally false" and the author failed to fact check the information to the White House or Ivanka. FLOTUS's spokeswoman also dismissed the book as "fiction."

This wasn't the only manifestation in the book that there is a tension between Melania and Ivanka. It was also revealed in The Art of Her Deal that Ivanka also tried to change the name of the Office of the First Lady in the White House to "Office of The First Family." Melania, however, blocked Ivanka's plan.

In addition, FLOTUS also, allegedly, did not like Ivanka's intrusion to the private residence when Melania delayed her move to the White House. When she and her son, Barron, finally moved in, Melania, reportedly, put firm boundaries of her private space in the White House.

Jordan said the two didn't really get along even though Melania is only 11 years older than Ivanka and both of them are former models. She said the two are totally different and Trump is often their referee when the two women have disagreements.

Jordan is not the only White House correspondent who attested that Melania and Ivanka have a frosty relationship and it got worse when Trump became president. CNN correspondent Kate Bennett also wrote another biography of Melania titled Free, Melania: The Unauthorized Biography. In her book, Bennett said the two are cordial but they are not really close.

Bennet added when Melania wore the controversial "I really don't care, do U?" jacket, it was to mock her stepdaughter. The mother of one, allegedly, got annoyed by Ivanka's attempt to take credit for her work on softening the administration's immigration stance. It can be recalled that Melania received public backlash for wearing the jacket during a trip to the Mexican border in June 2018 to meet migrant children.

The Art of Her Deal is, reportedly, based on over 100 interviews but many were off the record. The book was released on June 16.
