It's undeniable that Huawei's has some of the best hardware you can buy in the market these days. The company has always been pitted against Apple, and while rumor has it that the Cupertino tech giant is considering not to include the charger from the iPhone 12's box, the Chinese company is planning to make significant charger upgrades.

To this day, Huawei phones are pretty much still on the U.S. Government's Entity List, meaning they come without Google services on board and basically have to rely on open-source Android instead. Still, this has not stopped the company from producing incredible designs, impressive cameras, and many other stunning innovations.

According to Huawei Central, Huawei's charger could get a lot faster, not that it lacks charging speed now.

Many of Huawei's phones come bundled with a 4OW charger out of the box, including the Mate 20, P30, Mate 30, and P40 series. To compare, the iPhone 11 includes a 5W charger while the iPhone 11 Pro has a more powerful one, but it's still a meager 18W.

Over the years, people have become keener on buying faster chargers since most of our tasks these days are done using mobile phones – batteries drain fast, so recharging fast is of utmost importance.

A powerful charger essentially means that recharge time is greatly reduced and Huawei wants to achieve this feat.

Huawei Central claims that China Compulsory Certificate (3C) has just certified a Huawei charger with the code HW110600C00 and power level of a whopping 66W. That's an incredibly impressive figure for a charger, which if true only goes to show that Huawei wants to beat everybody on its path.

The 66W charger is expected to be bundled with the Mate 40 Series, but do note Huawei has not said anything to confirm any of this, so it could be sold separately. It would be cool though if the charger is included with the phone.

Huawei has been using the 40W SuperCharge for quite a while now and the company seems to be moving forward with an increased charging power on the upcoming Huawei Mate 40 series. There's also a possibility the 66W charger would be paired with the Mate X2 foldable device and future Huawei phones including the P50 line.

It's too soon to talk about this though and Huawei is yet to confirm the existence of the powerful charger. If it makes it with the Mate 40, it's definitely something Apple will find difficult to beat.
