The Boys season 2 is still a few months away from its official arrival, but it has been teasing a lot as to what we can expect next. It looks like certain characters in the upcoming installment will be given a spotlight, including Black Noir.

In a sneak peek of The Boys season 2, the clip teased what Black Noir can do. This character is still alive, yet he's one of the most forgotten members of the Seven. He wasn't given much screen time during the first season, but it looks like he'll play a huge part moving forward.

The video shows how mysterious and dangerous Black Noir is. Based on the scenes in the clip, he can kill people without them knowing. He's the silent member of the Seven and possessed superhuman strength and agility. He could conceal his appearance though a dark costume.

The clip also gives us a little bit of what's going on at Vought, which remains to be a huge part of the new season. In addition, it's clear that Giancarlo Esposito will have an important role in everything that's happening within this world.

Meanwhile, The Boys season 2 will also be introducing the newest members of the Seven. Back in 2019, it was confirmed that Aya Cash will be joining the series and will be playing the role of Stormfront. The character is the newest villain, who's entirely different from Homelander.

In a clip featuring Stormfront, the character ambushed the Seven on her Instagram Live. The scene showed her clashing with Homelander, who seemed mad over her joining the supes. While both characters may clash, they could also build an interesting relationship moving forward.

Stormfront is described as extremely tech-savvy. She knows how technology and social media works. She could use these things to get whatever she wants. Yet, the character is entirely different from the comics, where Stormfront was introduced as a male neo-nazi superhero.

As for Billy Butcher, there are a lot of questions regarding his whereabouts. While the character will eventually return, we have to wait for a while to get some answers as to what he's really up to while he's gone. His back story might also be explored, but not within the series itself.

According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, there will be a separate short film titled Butcher midway through The Boys season 2. Executive producer Eric Kripke said Butcher is missing in action when the new installment arrives, then he'll show up.

He explained that they originally shot something for the second episode that will reveal where he went and what were his experiences. However, the story didn't fit well in the episode since it made Butcher's story less intriguing and mysterious. That's why they decided to make a short film for the character.

The Boys season 2 will premiere on Friday, Sept. 4, on Amazon Prime.
