Queen Elizabeth may have a lot of royal obligations to complete her whole reign, but she had always enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to the U.S. with their son Archie, a new report claims that Her Majesty and Prince Philip and worried that they may never see the little boy again.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced back in January that they will be stepping down as senior royals. At the end of March, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex officially withdrew from their roles, and they relocated to Los Angeles.

But just because Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no longer working royals, that does not mean that they are not part of the Royal Family anymore. In fact, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are still treasured members of the royal clan.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were, reportedly, scheduled to visit Queen Elizabeth over the summer. Unfortunately, their much-awaited reunion may not happen anymore due to the coronavirus outbreak.

This special trip would have given Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip a chance to spend quality time with Archie. The doting grandparents have not seen Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son face to face since last November.

Just like everyone else, Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and the rest of the royal family members are also following the implemented lockdown. This means that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex couldn’t leave the U.S. to visit Britain since the emergency protocol has not yet been lifted.

As if that’s not enough, Meghan Markle’s court documents against the publisher of The Mail on Sunday and MailOnline sparked tension with the Royal Family when her legal team claimed that she was “unprotected by the Institution and prohibited from defending herself.”

“Some in royal circles have even started to wonder whether the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will ever see their one-year-old great-grandson Archie again amid the escalating row,” Royal editor Camilla Tominey wrote.

Meanwhile, royal expert Katie Nicholl said that a source told her that Queen Elizabeth noticed how similar Archie is to Prince Harry. In a video call, Her Majesty, reportedly, saw that the one-year-old has inherited his father's red hair.

Queen Elizabeth has not seen much of Archie since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle relocated to Los Angeles. The video call from L.A. to Windsor Castle was one of the rare occasions that Her Majesty saw the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son over the past year.
