Stargirl episode 9 is set to arrive next week on the DC Universe, with the title "Brainwave." Within this episode, we're going to see Courtney recruiting someone new to the JSA. However, it seems like other members aren't agreed with her idea and a potential clash between her and the team may arise.
In Stargirl episode 9, Courtney will try to get Henry Jr. on their side. This person tends to have conflicting actions; he could be kind, but also has terrible influences. He doesn't know how to use his powers at the moment, but Courtney thinks they could use him to fight evil forces in Blue Valley.
However, not everyone in the team is happy with her plan. Courtney's idea may lead to a potential conflict between the members -- especially since they have different opinions about this person. In addition, Henry Jr. himself isn't fully agreed being part of the squad.
The synopsis of Stargirl episode 9 notes that Courtney tells the team who she wants to recruit next in the JSA. But then, her idea causes tension among team members. It's clear that she wanted to save Blue Valley from the evil forces, but some of her actions could have consequences.
Perhaps, there could be resistance, especially since Henry Jr. doesn't know how to fully utilize his powers. There are also problems when it comes to his father, Henry Sr. also known as ISA member Brainwave. Within this episode, Henry Jr. discovers something about his father.
This particular story will also continue the following week, as episode 10 is titled "Brainwave Jr." Similar to other preceding episodes, the majority of the stories are two-parter. And in this particular storyline, we could see Henry Jr. becoming Brainwave Jr.
As for what else is coming in the episode, Barbara invites Jordan and his family for dinner. The former's fate is one of the biggest concerns in the series. She thinks that she's living in a normal and local community, but she didn't know how much danger she's putting herself in.
Stargirl episode 9 will be airing on Monday night, July 13, on the DC Universe. The episode will then be available the following day, Tuesday, July 14, on The CW. Viewers can also stream the episodes of the series through some cable-free online streaming services, including Hulu + Live TV and DirecTV.
