Hightown episode 8 is scheduled to arrive this week on Starz, with the title "#Blessed." This will be the final episode of the season, and Jackie will continue to investigate the case. But, will she able to close it before the season concludes?
There are a lot of loose ends that need to be tied up in Hightown episode 8, including the justice for Krista and ending the saga that's been going on since the beginning. Although Junior is now dead, that doesn't mean that the problem is over.
What Jane needs to do now is find a way to take Osito down or pin some of the murders on Frankie. She may be able to find justice by doing this, but things could get complicated. One of her biggest obstacles is herself. She can be her own worst enemy, which tends to get in her way.
Jackie broke her sobriety this season, even before Krista's death. And now, she wasn't able to save Junior. These deaths could cause here to break down once again and could further complicate the investigation. She's been fighting her demons as of late, and the recent events may have impacted her.
In the synopsis of Hightown episode 8, Jackie and Ray return to business following a depressing failure. However, they soon find out that the case may not be really closed. For Ray, he can track down Osito or Frankie as long as there's no sabotage.
Yet, his biggest problem here is Renee since she's aware he's billing her as a CI. She thought they were something more, only to be betrayed in the end. This could complicate things for Ray, as Renee could bring more problems. She's been emotionally burned so she could come up with a plan to destroy him.
The final question here is whether there'll be a cliffhanger. That's very likely, especially if the current case gets resolved. The series could feature another case that needed to be explored. Additionally, there could be developments and evolutions among certain characters.
There is also no need to worry about the future of the series since it will be coming back for more. In June 2020, Starz confirmed Hightown has been renewed for a second season. But then, we can't expect it coming anytime soon, considering the current global health crisis.
Hightown episode 8 will be airing on Sunday night, July 12, on Starz.
