Everyone knows her as Ivanka, but it's not her real name. In a tweet, the 38-year-old personality revealed her actual name is Ivana. As her mother is a Czech-American, in Czech, the name Ivanka is a diminutive word for Ivana.
She is a former model
When Ivanka moved to Connecticut, when she was only 15 to go to a boarding school, she started to miss her friends. To cope up with the loneliness, she began modeling. In an interview with Marie Claire in 2007, she revealed she used it as an excuse to travel and a way to break up the monotony.
She joined Project Runway and Gossip Girl
Good Housekeeping added Ivanka appeared on Project Runway for a judging stint. She also guests starred with her husband, Jared Kushner, playing as themselves, on Gossip Girl.
She converted to Judaism for love
Religion played a significant role in Ivanka's relationship with Kushner, to the point that it was the reason they briefly broke-up in 2008. Kushner is an orthodox Jews.
Hence, Ivanka decided to convert to Judaism. According to the South China Morning Post, she underwent a strict conversion process. She now keeps her house kosher and raises their three kids as Jewish.
She is also a multilingual
Just like her stepmom, Melania Trump, Ivanka is also multilingual. Aside from English, she also knows how to speak French upon learning it as a child. She also understands some Czech, although she admitted she could only remember the bad words.
She gets no salary from her work in the White House
Although Ivanka plays a huge role in the White House, as Senior Advisor to her father, President Donald Trump, she doesn't get any salary. Her husband, too, doesn't get paid for his work as an assistant and senior adviser to the POTUS.
