Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are making a fresh start in the U.S. after they officially stepped down as senior royals at the end of March. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced earlier this year that they would withdraw from their roles to focus more on their family and charities while being “financially independent.”

After Meghan Markle and Prince Harry completed their final obligation as senior royals, they relocated to Los Angeles with their son Archie. It is believed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be launching their new brand in the U.S. after quitting royal life. Previous reports claimed that the couple was set to close down their Sussex Royal Foundation as they start their new life outside the Royal family.

And in April, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced the name of their new foundation, Archewell. Although it is speculated to launch later this year, the couple had been working on it for months.

Unfortunately for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, their U.S. plans came to a screeching halt due to the coronavirus outbreak. Royal commentator Camilla Tominey then suggested that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex should revamp their plans after it turned into a “damp squib.”

"So it’s been a bit of a damp squib and that’s not what they wanted. They are going to have to reset this in January,” she said.

As if that’s not enough, the name of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s new foundation was brutally mocked online. People were not as impressed with the choice as they probably hoped. Some even compared it to two controversial brands, such as Tom Cruise’s religion, Scientology, and Gwyneth Paltrow’s wellness and lifestyle company, GOOP.

Internet trolls also made fun of a possible Archewell Foundation website. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex forgot to register the domain name, and these trolls redirect the link to Kanye West's “Gold Digger” music video.

Also, other internet trolls hijacked several potential domain names, such as archewellfoundation and archewellcharity. A message was posted on the archewellcharity.com website demanding for Prince Harry to return to the U.K.

The pranksters were updated with news about Prince Harry as they hijacked the domain after it was reported that the Duke of Sussex dropped his royal surname. The younger brother of Prince William registered his name as Prince Henry Charles Albert David, Duke of Sussex in the registration documents for a new sustainable tour firm Travalyst, which was the name used by the trolls on the website.
