Dani Ceballos is having an impressive loan spell with Arsenal so far, and the Premier League club can make his stay at the Emirates permanent this summer. The price for such a deal has been set at £23 million, the amount set by Ceballos' parent club Real Madrid.

Reports from Spain indicated that Ceballos is among the Real players marked by club boss Zinedine Zidane for offloading in the upcoming transfer window. If the Gunners are interested, the 23-year-old is up for grabs and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta can make the arrangements.

That appeared to be the route that Arteta is taking soon as Ceballos no doubt has been impressive with Arsenal. It seemed obvious too that the Spanish player has won the trust of his boss as Metro reported that Ceballos has been part of the first-team since February.

In total, the midfielder played in 10 consecutive games and is part of the starting squad.

He was sidelined for nearly three months in the season but turned in impressive performances when given the chance to play on the pitch. Metro said Ceballos is regarded by Arteta as one of his key players and the midfielder is always on top of the list for first-team consideration.

Given Ceballos' strong showing in the past months, it would seem that Real would be unwilling to let go of the Spaniard below the asking price. Per the same report, Los Blancos are confident that the negotiation on the Real man will tilt on their favor.

That's because the player is also on the radar of other La Liga clubs and if Arsenal will pass up on the chance making Ceballos a regular at the Emirates, Real can offer him to other interested parties. Valencia and Betis are said to be inquiring on Ceballos and the midfielder is entertaining the thought of rejoining the latter, his old club.

Mirror said Ceballos is open to the possibility of returning to La Liga and has indicated that playing for Betis again is an option. He made it clear that playing in Spain "suits me well."

However, the Arsenal is firm one thing - that he is happy right now with the North London club and the priority at the moment is to make good until the Premier League season is over.

"I'm also happy at Arsenal and I have to have respect for them, I am focused on the remaining games," Ceballos was reported as saying.

He insinuated too that if there is an opportunity to remain at the Emirates for a longer time, then can always put off the plan to play for a Spanish side again.
