Scientific research declared Princess Diana the most beautiful royal of all time, getting the highest score of a perfect face. Harley Street surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva used the Golden Ratio analysis, an ancient Greece's system that measures "physical perfection," to evaluate the royal women's facial features, ratios, and symmetry, including Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton.
The polymath Leonardo Da Vinci used this formula to measure the perfect human male body in his work, the Vitruvian Man. Since then, the scientists adapted this process to know the Greek's standard of ideal beauty.
De Silva has developed this system into a "computerized facial mapping technique," using technology to make it easier to use.
Princess Diana came out the most attractive royal followed the Queen Rania of Jordan and the late Grace Kelly of Monaco. Meghan is also part of the list, coming out as the fourth most attractive royal, while Kate gets the fifth and last rank.
According to Daily Mail, the surgeon, who runs the Centre for Advanced Facial Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery in London, said the late People's Princess and the Duchesses of Sussex and Cambridge are all gorgeous women.
However, the Greek's Golden Ratio of physical perfection finds Princess Diana the most beautiful one due to her facial features. The shape of her face, from the width of her nose to her brow forehead, and eyebrows, gets the top score of 89.05%.
Her nose base and lip width get the highest score of 96.6%, while her chin is the lowest with 85%. De Silva explained the chin of Princes William and Harry's mother is "less classical" than other women.
Queen Rania comes second with an 88.9% score, The Sun noted. Her best feature is her chin with a 95.6% rating, while her lowest is her brow area with 82%.
Former Hollywood star and the late Princess of Monaco, getting the title upon marrying Prince Rainier, Princess Grace, gets the third spot with 88.8%. Her eye position almost gets the perfect score of 99.8%, while her lowest is her eyebrow with 82.4%.
Meghan comes third with an 87.4% rating. Her nose width and length get 98.5% while her face shape only gets 84.2%. De Silva praised her "beautiful face symmetry," particularly her almost perfect nose shape and V-shaped chin.
Last, but not least, is Kate, with a score of 86.8%, narrowly beat by Meghan. Her nose base and lip width get the highest rating of 91.9%, while her lowest is her face shape with 80%.
De Silva explained she has the perfect gap between her nose and lips and has "strong eye spacing." However, Kate has a weaker chin like Princess Diana and even her jawline compared to other royal princesses.
