Blue Bloods season 11 is, eventually, coming on CBS even though there are still a lot of uncertainties surrounding its official release date. Once the series returns, one of the most interesting stories that can be tackled is romance, something the show doesn't usually address.
We've already seen the love story of Jamie and Eddie play out in the series. So, it would be nice to see other characters having their own love interest in Blue Bloods season 11. For instance, Danny Reagan could be the obvious candidate here.
The series has been hinting his potential romance before and this could finally happen in the upcoming installment. But, then, everything depends on the timing and finding the perfect story for him. After all, Linda's memory still probably lingers on him.
While some were rooting for a Danny and Baez relationship, there is no clear indication that something more could happen between them. Both of them are good at their job and they could take on some certain cases together when Blue Bloods season 11 arrives.
Danny and Baez tend to do great things together, offering something different as detectives. There's still an opportunity to further explore their story and their bond could grow even more. These two deserve a spotlight together to highlight their partnership.
Erin could also have a potential love interest entering Blue Bloods season 11. It's interesting to see this character giving herself a chance to love. Over the past years, she spent most of her life on her job and raising her daughter, Nicky. It would be nice is he now has a little bit of something for herself.
There are hopes that something more could happen between her and Jack. But then, someone may possibly arrive and could complicate things between them. There are a lot of stories that needed to address when it comes to her personal life, especially her love life.
As for Frank, he could have a love interest at some point in the series -- but that may not happen in the immediate future. There have been previous attempts to explore his romantic life, but that wasn't really focused in the previous installment.
At the moment, it's clear that there's no changing who he is and what he wants. Yet, someone could arrive and challenge him -- forming a connection along the way. This someone could also shake things up for him and will allow him to find love again.
Lastly, Nicky or Sean could find their own relationship in Blue Bloods season 11. Since they are one of the youngest Reagans, there's a question as to how their potential romance could impact the story. Both of them are still young, so most of the family members may disagree with the idea.
