Sandra Bullock and TV personality Jesse James ended their marriage in 2010. It's been years and yet, Bullock's name is still being dragged on the affairs of her former family, particularly on her stepson, Jesse Eli James.

The National Enquirer published a story this week claiming that the Bird Box actress is getting herself involved in the legal troubles of Jesse James's son. The tabloid claimed Bullock got caught up in her step-son, Jesse Eli James, ordeal after he got arrested twice this year.

Reports have it that Jesse Eli was arrested in late March and again in April for assaulting his girlfriend, Lucee. A source told the tabloid that the two had a brutal altercation that ended up Lucee hitting the ground. But apparently, when the police questioned Jesse Eli, he claimed that it was just "rough sex."

The National Enquirer reported that the Ocean's 8 actress was incredibly upset and heartbroken when she found out that someone she raised as a mother seemingly hurt a woman. It added that even though Bullock is no longer married to Jesse James, she is still protective of her former family. The insider claimed the actress always helped people out who have been part of her life.

Gossip Cop dismissed the story that Bullock is caught up in Jesse Eli's legal problems. The outlet noted that Bullock might be concerned about her 23-year-old stepson's assault arrest but not "caught up" in it.

Gossip Cop noted that Bullock hasn't seen Jesse Elie for quite some time now, not to mention that she has two young children of her own to take care of. The outlet noted that this was just an attempt to drag Sandra Bullock's name into a story even though it has nothing to do with her.

The site also noted that this wasn't the first time the National Enquirer made a false claim about Bullock. In May, it also claimed that the actress was ready to marry her long time boyfriend Bryan Randall. It claimed that Randall finally convinced the actress to marry him and they were allegedly planning a wedding in Texas

Gossip Cop debunked the story, stressing that Bullock already stated in the past she has no plans to marry again. In a 2015 interview with People Magazine, the Gravity actress said her priority was building a healthy relationship and making memories with her loved ones.

Back in November 2018, the same tabloid also claimed that Sandra Bullock called off her wedding to Randall. It alleged that the actress had a change of heart after she found out that Randall didn't want to adopt her two children. This report was also debunked by Gossip Cop.
