Prince George will be celebrating his 7th birthday on Wednesday, July 22. While his destiny will make him the King of England one day, after his father Prince William, this Cambridge royal is, apparently, growing up as a regular kid.

According to Daily Mirror, Prince George is just like any boy his age -- full of energy, sometimes naughty, funny, and "a little bit of a rascal," as his father said. There are apparently "no heirs and graces" about Prince George, who is the third in line to the British throne.

Despite his playful and mischievous side, however, Prince George is not a rowdy kid who misbehaves in public because he knows his privilege. On a chance encounter at a supermarket one time, a shopper was surprised to find Prince George and his siblings with their mother. She described them as beautiful, well-behaved children

Frequent visitors of the Hurlingham Club in London, also, said the same thing of Prince George and his siblings. They play like kids but they never bother other people and know how to behave.

Kate, however, hinted at Prince George's impetuous side. During the lockdown, he, apparently, liked working on his sister's homeschooling projects better than his literacy homework.

The Duchess of Cambridge also said that Prince George gets a bit grumpy when he loses against Prince Louis during their gardening activities. The Cambridge children were given their own garden patches while in isolation at Anmer Hall at the height of the pandemic crisis and Prince Louis might have a better green skill than his older brother.

Kate also revealed in one interview that her eldest son is into watching nature documentaries. Prince William, on the other hand, enjoys the fact that Prince George appreciates sports as much as he does.

Prince George will likely be celebrating his birthday while social distancing with friends and family. Though coronavirus restrictions are slowly being eased off in the U.K., the family might still keep the party low-key among just their family unit and then contact their extended family over video conferencing.

Before the next school year, Prince William and Kate will have to decide if Prince George should attend boarding school. According to OK! Prince William and his brother, Prince Harry, were sent to boarding school when they turned eight years old, as per royal tradition. Royal experts, however, said that it's also possible the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge might forego this tradition for Prince George since they are modern parents.
