Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may never have the chance to continue their royal duties after all the bombshell revelations their controversial book, Finding Freedom, revealed. Royal sources believe they have "torpedoed" their opportunity to have a new position in the monarchy, pursuing their alleged plan to be "hybrid royals," when their one-year probationary period comes to an end.

Insiders revealed, via Daily Mail, that Prince Harry and Meghan have shut down the possibility of having a new position with the help of Queen Elizabeth II and other senior royals when their "trial period" after moving to the US ends. With the disclosures that their bombshell biography made about their relationship with the Royal Family, the hope for renegotiation is, reportedly, now gone.

The divulgences in great detail may also affect the efforts to repair their alleged rift with Prince William and Kate Middleton. A tipster from the royal household revealed that, as "much-loved members" of the Royal Family, the doors would always remain open for them.

However, it remains to be a big question as to how they can save their pursuit to have a new role in the monarchy as "hybrid royals," who can have commercial careers and continue doing their royal duties while staying in the U.S. Another source added that, although Megxit has yet to undergo the review, there might be no way for them to return to their royal roles after the revelations in Finding Freedom.

Some "very private family matters" are, now, revealed in public through the book. Hence, it is expected to be very "hurtful" for the Royal Family, mainly because it seemed to have Prince Harry and Meghan's blessing.

However, the two have, reportedly, denied they gave any interviews to Finding Freedom authors Carolyn Durand and Omid Scobie. Prince Harry and Meghan, also, claimed that they didn't contribute to the book.

According to the NZ Herald, the one-year probationary period gives the family members some breathing space. It will provide the Sussexes the chance to establish their new, independent lives and give them the possibility to return to the royal fold if ever they change their minds.

However, as multiple sources pointed out, the way the couple manages to build their new lives in Los Angeles, from borrowing Tyler Perry's $18-million mansion to the dropping of Finding Freedom, may put an end to the probability of their return to their royal duties. One senior figure said the state of the world today seems to be so "ill-timed" for Prince Harry and Meghan so they just have to move on.
