Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are, reportedly, seen enjoying a low-key honeymoon driving around France after their secret wedding. An eagle-eyed tourist spotted the newlyweds driving a small car, which was fully packed of their things, on the south side of the said country.

The traveler told Daily Mail it was a huge surprise to see Princess Beatrice and Mozzi in the area. The business tycoon was the one behind the wheel, while they were both enjoying the "beautiful drive" just like any other couple.

A source revealed the two never really planned to have a traditional honeymoon. However, they decided to go on a trip in the "last minute."

The insider explained they had no plans to bother for it, but they suddenly decided to pack up their car and head out. The tipster also added they were "very down-to-earth" pair.

Princess Beatrice and Mozzi surprised everyone when they tied the knot in secret at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor. It was an intimate family ceremony, attended by only a number of guests.

There were only less than 20 visitors, and most of them were the bride and the groom's immediate family members. Despite her non-public appearance, the Princess of York's mom, Sarah Ferguson, proudly shared her sentiments about her daughter's "loving" wedding, Mirror Online noted.

In an Instagram post, the Duchess of York thanked the public for their kind messages and support to her child. She also revealed she had never been more proud than the wedding of her two daughters, Princess Eugenie to Jack Brooksbank and Princess Beatrice to Mozzi, who she called "Dear Edo." She added she is so lucky with her girls and the "best sons-in-law."

Before the secret wedding, Princess Beatrice and Mozzi had to postpone their marriage, initially set to take place in May, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With the U.K. government's restrictions on weddings, their mothers, Sarah and Nikki Williams-Ellis, managed to plan a small private ceremony for them in only a matter of weeks, Hello! Magazine reported.

Princess Beatrice looked stunning in Queen Elizabeth's vintage Norman Hartnell gown. She paired her dress with Queen Mary's diamond fringe tiara, which the monarch wore herself on her own wedding with Prince Philip in 1947.

According to reports, Princess Beatrice made a last-minute request to her grandmother to wear her gown after she, reportedly, changed her mind about the wedding she was originally supposed to wear. A source said it was a touching moment for Mozzi's wife and Queen Elizabeth.
