Leah Remini continues to make claims against Tom Cruise and his involvement in the Church of Scientology. The 50-year-old actress asserts there is more to the Mission: Impossible star than what people see.

Remini believes it is the perfect time for everyone to see the real Cruise. She alleges the 58-year-old actor "manipulated" his image to look like the good guy.

The Kevin Can Wait star admitted to Us Weekly that she could not deny there was a time that Katie Holmes' ex-husband was a "decent and kind-hearted guy." However, she claimed he had "morphed himself into David Miscavige," the Scientology leader.

Allegedly, Cruise is fully committed to fulfilling Scientology's mission to "clear planet Earth." They, reportedly, aim to turn 80% of the world's population to be Scientologists.

Remini had also been a member of the Church of Scientology. She became a Scientologist when she was a child, but decided to leave the religious movement in 2013. Since then, she has been trying to expose the "alleged misgivings" of the organization, especially in her three-season documentary, Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath.

Her revelations even almost ended up in court after considering "taking legal action" against the church, in 2019, after alleging its members "spied and followed" her. Church of Scientology's spokesperson denied the claim at the time.

Remini, also, praised Thandie Newton after the latter revealed the "nightmare" she experienced while working with Cruise for the movie Mission: Impossible 2 in 2000. The 47-year-old actress disclosed that she noticed the actor was a "very dominant individual" while they filmed the said movie.

Remini told The Daily Beast that it took a huge gut for someone to do what the Westworld star did. If more people would speak the way Newton did and be brave enough to do so, she believed they "might get somewhere."

Recently, Newton surprised everyone with her revelation that she was "so scared" of Cruise. She recalled the "difficult moment" they had worked together on set when the scene she was doing for the movie was not going well. After that, she asserted no one asked him to do another film.

Remini praised Newton for her bravery to go public and tell the truth. She said Cruise had already "gotten away" with his being the "nice guy," following the Scientology policy.

Allegedly, it is part of the movement's rule to have good PR and make their "good actions" known. However, Remini suggested that if people would look at Cruise's actions, they would see it as inconsistent.
