The study only cites seven complaints about the MIC Tesla Model 3 for every 10,000 vehicles. The latest data from the survey showed that Tesla is winning the hearts of its Chinese consumers. It also reflects the level of quality of the products manufactured at the Gigafactory 3 in Shanghai.
CheZhiWang, a Chinese quality compliant company, recently conducted a survey among 38 sedans available in China. Being the largest automotive market in the world, the country is conducive ground for conducting automotive surveys like this. The team conducted a survey on both domestic and foreign sedans in the country.
It turned out that the MIC Tesla Model 3 or those manufactured at the Gigafactory 3 in Shanghai, China is the highest-quality sedan available to consumers in the country. On the issues with Tesla Model 3, owners of the electric vehicle said that those were almost obsolete. Additionally, the survey suggested that the average domestic car complaint sales ratio in that particular quarter was 37.2 per 10,000 vehicles.

Earlier this year, Electrek reported that Tesla got the lowest place in a quality study conducted by J.D. Power 2020. The company scored 250 problems for every 100 cars. The survey was based on around 1250 tesla owners where the majority of the respondents own a Tesla Model 3 unit.
It is surprising that a similar survey conducted in China yielded an exactly opposite result. It only shows that the U.S. electric vehicle maker is now leading the market in China when it comes to the quality of the Tesla Model 3 it produces in the Gigafactory 3 in Shanghai.
