J-Hope is dubbed as “Sunshine” by ARMYs because of his bright and bubbly personality. But, that’s not the only thing the BTS star is famously known for. The “Ego” rapper is, also, someone who cannot hide his emotions. J-Hope himself admitted that he’s bad at lying because he could not fake his expressions.

During Episode 111 of Run BTS!, J-Hope had proven, once again, that he couldn’t hide his emotions. The boys were at the Hyundai Motor Studio in Goyang, where they were tasked to find a passcode to open a treasure. Since this was a solo round, everyone was very competitive.

But, because RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook had a hard time finding the hints during their trial round, the staff decided to give them a clue to the location of the first passcode. They said that it’s Jungkook’s English name (JK), but with a different last name (Jungkook’s last name is Jeon).

After a couple of minutes, RM spotted the name J.K. Kim plastered on one of the sports cars. The BTS leader tried to play it cool while trying to figure things out.

After a few more minutes, the staff said that the hint can be found on a car, that’s when the rest of the boys checked out all the parked vehicles. Suga and Jin, then, spotted it and pretended that they didn’t see it.

In fact, when Jimin asked Suga if he found the hint, he only said: “Of course, I did” and walked away. Three boys already figured it out but, with the mercy of RM, Jimin got the clue too. The four of them, then, moved on to find more hints.

Meanwhile, J-Hope was still trying to find the car. And when he finally spotted it, his reaction was completely different from the rest of the members.

While the other boys didn’t react much to not let the others know that they found the hint, J-Hope stopped in his tracks with his eyes wide open, staring at the race car, and even made a “shocked” sound. After realizing that he found the clue, J-Hope smiled from ear to ear and giggled. (Watch the clip here). If V and Jungkook were behind him, they would certainly figure the hint out without breaking a sweat -- thanks to J-Hope’s expressions.

In the end, all of the boys figured out the passcode. The treasure is actually a note, telling them that they can now go home. (Watch the full episode here).
