Brian Austin Green knew how to throw shades in a very direct way. He did it to his estranged wife Megan Fox through the caption that the actress wrote on her latest Instagram post with her new boyfriend, Machine Gun Kelly.

Fox shared a mirror selfie of her and Kelly on Wednesday, showing them posing with towels wrapped around their waists. In the photo, the Transformers actress wore a bikini top while the rapper was shirtless. She captioned the snap, "Achingly Beautiful Boy... My heart is yours," along with two knives and a heart emoji.

Hours later, Green posted pictures of his three sons with Fox: Noah Shannon, 7, Bodhi Ransom, 6, and Journey River, 3. It also featured his son Kassius, 18, who he shares with ex Vanessa Marcil. Green used almost the same caption as Fox but changed the "boy" to "boys" to stress reference to his sons.

Brian Austin Green threw shade on Fox just a couple of days after he defended the actress on speculations that she abandoned her children. Green and Fox's kids are, currently, spending lockdown with the actor.

The Beverly Hills 90210 star has been posting photos of him with his three kids for months. The latest was this week showing him and the kids trying to make a campfire.

During the Hollywood Raw podcast earlier this week, Green told hosts Dax Holt and Adam Glyn that Megan is a great mother and she loves her kids. He said the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles actress is working out of the country at the moment.

Green explained that for the past 15 years, he and Megan have an arrangement that when one is working, the other one would stay home and take care of their children. He said the only difference now is that they are no longer together.

In the interview, Green was, also, asked about how he found out about Fox's relationship with Kelly. The actor admitted that he found it out himself and he didn't read about it somewhere.

When pressed about how he handles the headlines about Fox and Kelly, Green said he tried to ignore it. The Anger Management actor said he avoids reading or watching the news about his estranged wife.

Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox first met in 2004 on the set of Hope & Faith. They got engaged two years later and tied the knot in 2010.

Last month, Green announced that he and Fox decided to part ways late last year after she came back from filming a movie overseas. Apparently, the Jennifer's Body actress asked for space. Fox was first linked to Machine Gun Kelly in May when photos of them spending time together started circulating.
