Megan Fox was once one of the hottest stars in Hollywood. She rose to fame when she starred in Michael Bay's hit movie Transformers along with Shia LaBeouf. However, her career dwindled after her second outing in the franchise. So what really happened?

When Transformers was released in 2007, the brunette beauty in the movie was immediately noticed by fans. Playing Mikaela Banes became Fox's breakout role and she quickly became the It Girl of Hollywood.

Her performance in the sequel, Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen, however, received mostly negative reviews. One movie critic even called her performance "wooden." This was coupled by her controversial comments about Transformers creator Michael Bay.

In an interview with Wonderland, Megan referred to Bay as Hitler. She said the director is like Hitler on set and it was a nightmare working with him.

In what some believe was her response to critics calling her acting "wooden," Fox said the notes she got back from Bay at the time they filmed the movie were uninspiring. Megan admitted that she got mad everytime she was told on set to "be hot" or "just be sexy."

Fox received backlash for her comment about her experiences filming Transformers. Many looked at her as difficult to work with and ungrateful for the opportunities given to her.

Bay also fired back on Fox. The filmmaker said the actress was always in her own world and on her phone. Bay said he wasn't hurt by what Megan said about him.

However, upon learning the Hitler comments, Bay said Transformers executive producer Steven Spielberg told him to fire Fox right away. True enough, Megan got replaced by British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

The bad blood between Bay and Fox seemed to have been resolved since the actress has been cast in Bay's live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in 2014 and its sequel in 2016. But then the supposed feud between the two was brought out again after Megan's previous appearance at the Jimmy Kimmel Live! resurfaced where she commented about the director.

In the said interview, the Jennifer Body actress said she was asked by Bay to dance sexually in a bikini under a waterfall in Bad Boys II. She said she did it instead of the alternative which was sitting at the bar or holding a drink when she was just 15 or 16 at the time.

Her comment sparked controversy. Fox quickly posted lengthy clarification to her statement as well as to the rumors that she was asked to wash Bay's car in a bikini when she auditioned for her role in Transformers

In her IG post, Fox clarified that she only pretended to work on Bay's car since Mikaela Banes was supposed to be knowledgeable about cars. She added that her screen test for Transformers occurred at a studio with other employees present. Megan stressed that she was never assaulted or felt preyed upon in a sexually manner while filming Bay's movies.

In response, Bay shared Megan's post along with a photo from Transformers audition. The director also praised Fox and added that he is proud to have worked with her and also planning on working with her again.
