WARNING: This article may contain spoilers for Yellowstone season 3 episode 8. Read at your own risk.

Yellowstone season 3 episode 8 is coming this week on Paramount Network, with the title "I Killed A Man Today." The title suggests that something big and terrible might happen within this episode, and it could be related to either Beth or Monica's storyline.

In Yellowstone season 3 episode 8, Beth will do whatever she can to take down her family's enemies, especially Willa Hayes and Roarke. Also, she brings John a lucrative offer but it looks like her father may not be able to accept this one.

Monica, on the other hand, has a harrowing ordeal. She's been dealing with a lot as of late and having a hard time facing some of her struggles, specifically with what's happening in the Native American community this season.

There is a possibility that someone would capture or torment Monica, leaving her more vulnerable moving forward. There could be a huge storyline coming for her and the episode title might be a reference to something that she is forced to do.

Meanwhile, the promo of Yellowstone season 3 episode 8 featured Monica informing Kayce what his father is up to these days. John is spending most of his time around Tate and not doing anything, which suggests that he is ready to retire -- or at least what Monica believes.

John is not ready to hang up his cowboy hat , just yet, since he still has to do a lot of things to protect his land. Perhaps, he's just trying to let out the pain and frustration he's feeling as of late. After all, he just, recently, discovered a devastating secret about Beth and Jamie. Also, the latter found out he's adopted.

John wants some time to think so he could figure out how to set up the ranch and its future without him. But, for now, there is no indication that he is retiring and saying goodbye to everything that he has done. There's still a lot of work that needed to be done, especially taking down Roarke.

More stories are coming in this week's episode, though it remains to be seen whether or not some of the loose ends will be tied here. There are only a few episodes left this season. But, the series still has a lot of stories to address and something big may happen to one of the main characters.

Yellowstone season 3 episode 8 airs on Sunday, Aug. 9, on Paramount Network.
