Kate Middleton had always been a hands-on mom to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Despite intense preparation for her future role as Queen Consort, the Duchess of Cambridge sees to it to put her children on top of her priority list.

According to a parenting expert, Kate Middleton has a “warm bond with her children.” The same can not be said to other royals, as most of them have always put their duties first.

Sue Atkins, the author of “Parenting Made Easy – How to Raise Happy Children and Raising Happy Children for Dummies,” said that Kate Middleton is always present in her children’s lives. The Duchess of Cambridge, also, guides Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis in the right direction as she watches from the sidelines. The expert added that Kate acts like a “lighthouse” to her children.

In a television interview during the lockdown, Kate Middleton shared her moments with her kids while following the emergency protocol at the time. “You write down the list of all the things you've done on that day: you pitch a tent, take the tent down again, cook, bake. You get to the end of the day – they've had a lovely time – but it is amazing how much you can cram into one day,” she said.

Meanwhile, everyone sees the Royal family members as prim and proper. Both male and female royals always look put together with excellent etiquette every time they step out in public.

With this in mind, many expect the royal family members to be always at their best behavior even when no one is watching. However, Kate Middleton shared multiple times that she lets her kids be kids.

Kate Middleton has always encouraged Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to have fun and play outside. But, when they do have activities inside the house, the Duchess of Cambridge doesn’t mind if they make a mess.

Just because they are royal children, that does not mean that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are well-behaved every single day. Of course, they also do naughty things like most kids do.

Instead of punishing them, Prince William and Kate Middleton introduced the “chat sofa.” Here, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will talk to their kids and ask what is upsetting them. They want to understand their children’s needs to resolve the issue through an open discussion.
