Kanye West has been trying to get her name to as many ballots as he can, particularly in the states where the race between Donald Trump and Joe Biden is tight. This made many to speculate that he is only running for president as a spoiler, which he did not dispute.

In a recent interview with Forbes Magazine, it was pointed to him by the outlet's editor Randall Lane that he may not win the 2020 presidential race because it is unlikely that he would get enough ballots to produce 270 electoral votes. This means he would just be serving as a spoiler in the election

"I'm not going to argue with you. Jesus is King," Kanye responded.

The interview with the rapper came after reports emerged that some GOP operatives have been helping out West in his efforts to get on the ballot in critical states such as Wisconsin and Ohio, where polls showed Trump and Biden are in a tight race. In November 2016 elections, Trump won Wisconsin with just a little over 22,000 votes. This number, apparently, is enough of a margin for a third-party candidate to make a difference. In the recent polls, Biden is ahead of Trump by around 12 points.

Forbes, also, noted that Kanye dismissed the attempt of the outlet in asking him to clarify reports about the personalities who reportedly maneuvering his campaign strategy as well as the question on whether or not it is being coordinated to GOP-affiliated officials. The rapper, however, hinted that he still has a great relationship with the Trump administration.

Kim Kardashian's husband said he would design a school in the coming months. Kanye added he would also be meeting with Betsy DeVos about the post-coronavirus pandemic curriculum. Betsy DeVos is currently Trump's Secretary of Education.

West has been a staunch supporter of Trump. He visited the former Celebrity Apprentice host in the Oval Office in 2018.

However, in a Forbes interview last month, the Chicago-raised rapper said he no longer supports Trump. He implied that he is disappointed by Trump's response to the coronavirus pandemic and as well as on reports that the president hid in his bunker while the country is in a health crisis.

At the moment, it seems like Kanye West is letting his team do the work on his presidential campaign. The rapper, along with Kim Kardashian and their children, is reportedly on a vacation outside the U.S. Kanye is spending time with his family after Kim visited him last week at his ranch in Wyoming following his infamous public and social media outbursts a few weeks ago.
