Former AOA member Mina opened up about fresh attempts to inflict self harm and admitted that she is afraid that AOA leader Jimin will make a comeback once her bullying scandal blows over.
In a recent Instagram post, she shared images of newly sewn stitches on her wrist a evidence of her fresh attempts to harm herself. The former AOA member said that she felt distressed over recent conversations with her former agency, FNC Entertainment, All Kpop reported.
According to Mina, she was upset over reports from the agency that Jimin begged forgiveness for bullying Mina for the duration of her career with AOA. She said she called out a rep from FNC thorugh a KakaoTalk message and asked them not to lie to the public.
Also, she reiterated her earlier statement that, when Jimin arrived at her house to ask for forgiveness, she had eyes big and clear, asked where her knife was, and claimed that she did not remember the multiple occasions that she bullied Mina.
Mina said it was not the behavior of a person who was begging for forgiveness and the agency should be honest about their claims.
However, she said the FNC rep replied nonchalantly as if to say that, in their eyes, Jimin did beg for forgiveness. She said she cut herself because of her distress over her former agency's callousness.
The younger sibling of Mina's manager was the one who found her the next day to take her to the hospital for treatment.
Mina further expressed fears that, because of FNC's behavior, it might be possible that Jimin will return to the entertainment industry once things quiet down.
As a final message to FNC, she said that, because the time for an apology has long ago passed, she would much rather the agency focus on their current trainees and artists to make sure that what happened to her won't happen to another person.
It can be recalled that Mina, recently, opened up about the suffering that she experienced under AOA leader Jimin during her ten years with the group.
Mina claimed that she attempted to take her life several times because of Jimin's abusive behavior and language. As the bullying scandal broke out, it was reported that AOA members went to Mina's house to apologize. However, based on Mina's account, Jimin claimed that she was unaware that she was being abusive. Because of the backlash, Jimin announced that she was leaving AOA and the entertainment industry, Soompi reported.
