Madonna is working on something new. The 61-year-old star teased her new collaboration with Academy Award-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody on Instagram.
Madonna shared a short clip of her meeting with the critically acclaimed 2007 hit movie, Juno, writer Cody. She asked what fans would do if they were injured and stuck at home.
She would write a screenplay with the 42-year-old author, she said. She added emojis, like an open book, a video recorder, other film-making stuff, a music note and a heart.
The black-and-white video featured the two women sitting on a couch and talking while Cody is typing on her laptop. They discussed Madonna's decadeslong career. They tackled her look from the Express Yourself era of the late 1980s and her Blonde Ambition tour in 1990. The discussion covered garters, suit bottoms, pin-striped pants and corsets.
The hitmaker told Cody the details they shared were important to the music selection that may feature in their secret project.

According to Daily Mail, Madonna's post gave birth to a lot of speculation. Many fans believe the Queen of Pop is joining the "musical biopic trend," working on her own "cinematic biography" after the release of Freddie Mercury's Bohemian Rhapsody and Elton John's Rocketman. Other stars like Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston will also have their own biopics.
Meanwhile, Madonna is a free agent after her almost 10-year contract with Interscope Records expired, Variety reported. Madonna hasn't spoken about any new ventures on social media - aside from her post with Cody.
She also spoke about her early career at a time when there was no YouTube, Vine, The Voice or American Idol. She had $35 only to her name - but a huge dream. Today, Madonna is one of the most influential figures in popular culture, widely recognized as one of the best-selling musicians of all time, selling more than 300 million albums worldwide.
