The Chi season 3 finale is airing this weekend on Showtime, with the title "A Couple, Two, Three." This episode is going to be intense and dramatic. There are a lot of things that need to explore here, particularly whether or not Ronnie is alive and the current state of Keisha.
The promo of The Chi season 3 finale further fuelled the speculations that Ronnie (Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine) is, indeed, gone for good. The clip featured a funeral, which seemingly confirms he is dead. This man wants to change, but he couldn't absolve himself from the things that he did in the past.
He is doing his best to redeem himself and even helped Keisha (Birgundi Baker) escaped from her abductor. While some think his recent actions could help him change, other people don't want to forget his wrongdoings and mistakes.
Ronnie's apparent death has been hinted in the previous episode. Now, the teaser is likely confirming the character is not coming back anymore. And if ever, his death isn't surprising at all as the series is known for taking some major characters off the board, like Brandon.
As for Keisha, the promo showed her going to the doctor and making a decision about her sudden pregnancy -- which is the result of the assault. There's a question whether she's going to keep the baby or not, given that she seemed conflicted with her current situation.
Keisha barely managed to survive the kidnapping, the good thing is that Ronnie was able to rescue her. However, even though she's with her family now, she's still dealing with the aftermath and nightmare of everything that happened.
She's having a hard time living her normal life again. She is fighting the demons inside her head, making it hard for her to accept everything. Keisha is completely broken and she might think that her pregnancy is a reminder of all the terrible things that happened to her.
As for what else is coming in The Chi season 3 finale, Emmett (Jacob Latimore) is ready to take his relationship with Tiff (Hannaha Hall) to the next level. However, something could come up and ruin everything that he planned.
These two have gone through a lot this season and their relationship is frequently being tested. Now, they want to take a step towards their future. But, getting a happy ending won't be easy for them since there are people out there who wanted to destroy whatever they have.
