BTS has been in the K-pop industry for seven years, but their passion for their craft is still very evident. While most celebrities would grow tired of doing the same routine almost every day, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook see it as an opportunity to showcase their talent.

Jungkook may only be 22 years old, but he has learned a lot from being a Big Hit Entertainment trainee and a BTS member for almost a decade. So, when the group made a special appearance on Mnet’s I-LAND, he made sure to give the trainees a piece of advice that came from his own experience.

One of the participants is Hanbin from Vietnam. Jungkook told him that he hoped he would go for his dreams and hold on to it. This advice may sound generic, but the BTS star had experienced it first-hand, and he still carries that fire in him up to this day.

Even though BTS has already reached the superstardom status, the boys have remained humble and grateful. Jungkook always makes sure that he would give his everything in every performance as he believes that he owes it to the fans.

“Whenever I do a performance, I don’t think about what will happen later and just give it my all at that moment. The fans that come to the concerts will always be different and so if I save my energy for later than the fans that came previously won’t be able to see a 100% performance and I don’t like that so I always try to do it the same every time,” Jungkook said during one of their tours.

RM even shared that Jungkook would wake up 30 minutes before them so that he could practice his solo “Euphoria.” The BTS leader said that the Golden Maknae is the definition of “euphoria.”

The other boys also noted that Jungkook is not one to back down from trying something unfamiliar. They said that the “My Time” singer is always up for trying something new. “You all know Jungkook. He goes for it first,” J-Hope said. “Everything is ‘try’ for Jungkook,” Suga added. Jin, then, praised their youngest member for having a “good mindset.”

So, when Jungkook told the I-LAND trainees to hold on to their dreams, he didn't just say it just for the program, he said it because he had been in their shoes. The BTS star’s love for his craft has never changed because he worked hard to achieve the success that he has today.
