Angelina Jolie talked about her coronavirus quarantine time with her six kids during a mini-press tour for her new Disney+ movie, The One and Only Ivan. Brad Pitt's ex-wife admitted that being with Maddox, 19, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and the twins Knox and Vivienne, 12, around was total chaos.
In an interview for Daily Pop, via E! News, Jolie joked that she had never been the woman who valued relaxation. Instead, she "liked chaos."
As all of her kids stayed at home today, the 45-year-old star revealed they were making cameos whenever she had virtual work meetings. It seemed to be a common sight on her household to see dogs, balls, kids, and other things when she was on high-level meetings.
But, instead of getting annoyed or embarassed, Jolie just laughed through it, explaining she would just "enjoy being human with everybody else." To add a little normalcy to the children's lives amid the pandemic, Jolie revealed she tried to make schedules for the kids to add "a bit of structure" to everyone's day.
She, then, commended her daughter, Zahara, for being a better one when the talk was about organizing. Jolie said she was even better than her.
When the day was over, they would just unwind by having regular movie nights with a lot of popcorn. Although she was an A-list Hollywood star and the kids' father was equally famous, the humanitarian revealed they were just like any other family.
They would be in their pajamas, robes, and snacks when it was family time, especially in times like this that they were all together. Thankfully, Jolie's eldest son, Maddox, was also with them today.
Maddox was in South Korea to attend Yonsei University for college. But, when the coronavirus outbreak began, he safely returned home.
Jolie told Extra he was doing virtual classes after he had to stay back from Korea. Maddox would usually go online, starting at around 6 p.m. U.S. time.
Overall, Jolie proudly said that they were all together and looking after one another. With six kids, they were a "nice big bunch." She also felt lucky that every one of them helped each other out.
Talking about her upcoming film, Jolie said The One and Only Ivan wrapped in an "unusual package." She teased there was something "very honest" in the middle of the movie that fans needed to find out. The new Disney+ movie would be out on Aug. 21.
