The scenario of Lionel Messi leaving Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain is likelier to happen than Neymar making his way back to Camp Nou. That is according to Wagner Ribeiro, described as friend and agent of the Brazilian, who claimed that the PSG ace is staying at the French capital for at least two more years.

Ribeiro stressed that the chance of Neymar choosing his old club over the Parisians this summer is next to none. Amid the rumors linking the South American superstar to a move away from Parc des Princes, the agent made clear no switching sides will happen anytime soon.

The possibility is high that Messi or even Cristiano Ronaldo will sign up with PSG, which Ribeiro reminded is backed by the economic might of the Qatari royalty. But Neymar leaving is too remote, he added.

"Neymar is happy and I think he will stay at PSG for at least two more years ... Today, without a doubt, it is easier for Messi to go to PSG than for Neymar to return to Barcelona," Goal reported the agent as saying.

Ribeiro admitted though that there was a time his friend plotted his return to the La Liga giants but it happened due to the player's injury woes. The situation is different now and things are looking up for Neymar in Paris.

The Brazilian striker will return to the Champions League finals wearing the PSG shirt, which for the star is the fulfillment of his intention to win the honor for the club. And his performance in the season's campaign further boosted his chance of winning the Ballon d'Or.

Ribeiro said Neymar's current form makes him superior over Messi and Ronaldo, who were the perennial winners of the prestigious award. But if the honor will be given this year, the agent pointed to Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, and Robert Lewandowski as the top contenders.

The Champions League final match will be a big factor as well as the agent is convinced that the game "will define the best in the world."

While it might be true that PSG can acquire Messi from Barcelona, as Ribeiro suggested, Give Me Sport said the Parisians doing so seemed a remote possibility. Money is not the problem but more on club stability.

The report noted that part of the reasons for Neymar's exit from Barcelona in 2017 was to be the lead man on his side. That is happening now with PSG and it seemed unlikely that the club hierarchy will want to rock the boat and give Neymar the prompt to leave.
