Jennifer Garner is, allegedly, having a hidden motive in dating Bradley Cooper. A tabloid accused the Alias actress of seeking revenge on her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, so she hung out with Cooper.
According to Heat, Garner took the A Star Is Born actor on "a very public date" to get attention, particularly from Affleck. It cited a source as saying the actress found it refreshing to hang out with someone who is fun to be with.
The insider implied that Garner is done feeling like a victim in her divorce with Affleck while he is having a great time with his new girlfriend Ana de Armas. It added that no one will be surprised if Jen and Bradley would, eventually, announce that their close friendship turns into a romance.
Gossip Cop quickly dismissed the speculation that Garner is seeking attention, revenge, or anything else on Affleck. The publication noted that the Peppermint actress is a famous Hollywood star. She doesn't need any more attention than what she is getting.
It, also, pointed out that Jennifer Garner is a very private person. She rarely shared photos of her children on social media. So, to claim that she is seeking attention is totally absurd.
Garner is, also, not sourgraping over her divorce from Affleck or jealous of his new romance. It is worth noting that it was Jen who filed for divorce and not the other way around.
It is, also, known in Hollywood that there is no conflict between Garner and the Batman actor even after their divorce. They are even doing great in co-parenting their children.
The Daredevil actress is, also, clearly happy for Affleck and in his relationship with de Armas. She even allowed her children to meet Ana. A source close to Garner told Us Weekly that the actress is pleased that Ben is in "a good and healthy place" now.
Gossip Cop added Garner did not intentionally grab the attention of the media on her outing with Cooper at the beach. Their photos were taken by paparazzi.
More importantly, it wasn't confirmed whether or not it was a romantic date. Garner and Cooper have been friends for years. It started even before they worked together in the spy TV drama Alias in 2001.
Cooper is friends with Affleck. He named the Limitless actor as one of the people who helped him in his sobriety.
Gossip Cop, also, earlier debunked another tabloid report that Affleck was furious over his ex-wife trip to the beach with the Silver Linings Playbook actor. New Idea claimed Ben is keeping his silence for now because he thinks he is in no position to judge since Garner as the actress has been cool with his relationship with de Armas.
