A major gameplay feature is reportedly coming to "Red Dead Redemption 2." Rockstar Games recently introduced multiple exciting files to the game. These files were apparently discovered by a code diver who leaked this exciting data online.
Latest "Red Dead redemption 2" Leak
Just after the confirmation that "Red Dead Redemption 2" is leaving Xbox Game Pass in September, a new report could cheer fans up. A Rockstar enthusiast shared on Twitter about his recent discovery about "Red Dead Redemption 2." VideoTech_took allegedly dug into the Naturalist update files rolled out by Rockstar Games on July 28.
He mentioned that he uncovered something not included in the Moonshiner DLC of the game. The text references to Director Mode and blocked Jack Marston, the tipster shared. Some fans speculate that this code means the much-awaited feature could arrive soon on "Red Dead Redemption 2" but without Jack Marston as a playable character.
Director Mode is likely happening. It appears Jack Marston won't be a playable character according to this new mention in the files. This new mention was leftover in 'ambientpedmodelsets.meta' from the Naturalist update.

Director Mode
Rockstar Games lately rolled out the Director Mode to "GTA 5" that allows a character or animal in the game to be controlled by a player in making digital movies. The feature equips players to act like a director that instructs actors what to do and where to go.
With the Director Mode on "Red Dead Redemption 2," content creators could create exciting character interactions that might not be possible in the main game. The arrival of the feature could boost the digital movie-making community of "Red Dead Redemption. It would also provide a whole new range of tools and options to content creators.
This is not the first time, however, that the community learned about mentions and references of Director mode in the game's files. Datamined leaks are usually reliable but sometimes they could also mislead because they are not conclusive. In this case, it is smarter to take this new information with a pinch of salt.
Rockstar Games has not yet commented on this particular leak. It is also silent on the possibility that Director Mode could arrive in "Red Dead Redemption 2." The Cowboy-themed sequel is currently available in various gaming platforms. This includes PC, Google Stadia, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
So far, Rockstar Games has not yet announced if the game is arriving on Sony's PS5 and Microsoft's Xbox Series X. Earlier, Take-Two Interactive confirmed that some of its popular titles would release on the upcoming next-generation gaming consoles. Rockstar Games earlier announced that "GTA 5" would be released on the PS5.
