Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been in a longstanding divorce battle since 2016. As the couple's divorce proceedings are often in the headlines, their three eldest children are, reportedly, very much aware of what's happening between their parents.

A source told Us Weekly that Maddox, 19, Pax, 16, and Zahara, 15, had full knowledge of the "back-and-forth" of their parents' divorce. Along with their other siblings, Shiloh, 14, and the twins, Knox and Vivienne, 12, they were all seeing a family therapist.

Pitt's relationship with Maddox had been estranged for years. Pax and Zahara, alternatively, were of age to decide if they wanted to see their father or not. Sadly, the insider revealed they had chosen not to see their dad.

Previously, a different source told Us that the 56-year-old actor and his eldest son's relationship had been "non-existent" since their alleged fight on a private jet flight in 2016 occured. For Pitt, it was a "tremendous loss."

Anyhow, with Maddox being at Yonsei University, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor was hoping he would have a stronger bond with Pax. He remained to be hopeful that his second child would want to reconnect with him again without being influenced by his older brother.

Maddox, recently, returned to Los Angeles due to the coronavirus outbreak in South Korea, attending his classes online.

Meanwhile, rumors had it Jolie wanted to move out of the country to go to a suburb in London with her six kids. The 45-year-old actress used to live in Richmond with her former husband while filming in 2011.

A different source told Mirror Online Jolie believed Richmond would be a "perfect environment for the kids," from a cultural to educational standpoint. Amid her custody battle against Pitt, Jolie could only bring the kids with her for a few months in the United Kingdom then return to the United States to be with their father for "longer periods."

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar in December 2019, the Maleficent star revealed she would like to move with her children as soon as possible. However, she could not because of Pitt. She said she would love to live abroad and would do so when the kids all turned 18.

Right now, she had to be in the area where their father chose to live. In that case, they were all staying in Los Angeles, California, where Pitt, currently, resides.
