RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook made their debuts for what was then a fairly unknown company, Big Hit Entertainment, which was far from enjoying the elite status of the “Big 3” at the time. The term “Big 3” is a reference to the three biggest entertainment companies in K-Pop – SM Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, and YG Entertainment.

But just like the name of their company, BTS became a big hit. While their journey to stardom wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies, they eventually achieved their goals and more due to their hard work and perseverance.

But what makes the members of BTS different from most celebrities is that they have never forgotten their humble beginnings. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook remain humble and grateful despite their superstardom status. On top of that, BTS is not like many idols when it comes to sponsorships.

Many believe that celebrities only truly makes it to the top when they get sponsorship deals from luxury brands, where they are paid to wear certain outfits and accessories at certain events for marketing. While that may be true, BTS is not too keen on cashing in.

It is worth noting that BTS has been spotted wearing the most expensive outfits during events, music videos, airport fashion and more, multiple times, but the boys reportedly don’t accept sponsorship deals because they don’t want to be controlled by these brands. In short, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook want to freely choose what they wear.

“BTS doesn’t accept fashion sponsorships but personally purchase the outfits that they want to wear that matches their concept. A fashion industry insider even claimed that brands ‘can’t do anything but simply hope that BTS chooses to wear their clothes,‘“ Chosun Biz revealed.

With BTS’s popularity soaring by the minute, fashion brands are dying to offer the group a sponsorship deal as everything that they touch becomes a hot topic on social media. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook can also quickly sell out any items without the need for other marketing.

In fact, the BTS members are like a walking advertisement. Whatever they wear, eat, drink, etc. immediately sells out.

Recently, ARMYs bought up RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook’s outfits from the teaser images for their comeback single, “Dynamite.” Despite their constant complaints of being broke, fans quickly sold out J-Hope’s “Obey” shirt in a matter of minutes. This $40 tee from Big Shot was the first item that fans purchased.

Other items that sold out were V’s earring and necklace, Jungkook’s Louis Vuitton denim jacket, Suga’s LV Leaf Denim Baseball Shirt, and Jimin’s necklace.
