WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for Yellowstone season 3 finale. Read at your own risk.

Yellowstone season 3 finale aired last weekend on Paramount Network. The episode delivered a lot of intense moments and big events, leaving the future of some characters in question. There are plenty of mysteries that needed to be solved moving forward.

In Yellowstone season 3 finale, we saw John Dutton (Kevin Costner) riddled with bullets, Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) in her office as it exploded, and Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) in a precarious situation. One of the biggest questions within this episode is who's responsible for these attacks.

Also, it remains to be seen whether or not the three could still be alive once the series returns. Right now, Kayce is a major concern here, given that his career is on the rise and he's a viable part of the ranch's future. Perhaps, some people are after him and want to harm him and his reputation.

Meanwhile, it's unlikely that John is dead despite being shot several times in Yellowstone season 3 finale. After all, Costner's character is one of the most important parts of the story. It would be odd for the series to kill off its major character just like that.

As for Beth, she is an important character, as well. She is one of the most significant members of the family and it feels like there are still a lot of stories to tell on her part. CarterMatt noted that the series could end up killing a supporting character instead since the Duttons are a huge part of the shows.

Yellowstone season 3 finale left a lot of unanswered questions. Viewers need to wait for a while before seeing who survived and who's responsible for this chaos. But, it seems like there are several candidates as to who's behind these attacks, given that the Duttons have gone through a lot this season.

One of the major candidates here is Roarke (Josh Holloway). This man is capable of hiring a lot of people and initiates an attack. Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley) is, also, a candidate, considering the things that happened to him just recently. He found out he's adopted and John isn't his biological father.

Also, there's a possibility that Jamie's biological father is behind the attack. Perhaps, he hired some people to make a move against the Duttons so he could get closer to his son. Lastly, Angela (Q'orianka Kilcher) possibly planned the attacks to get the ranch back for her own people.
