Yellowstone season 3 episode 9 is coming this weekend on Paramount Network, with the title "Meaner than Evil." This is the penultimate episode and we're going to see Beth Dutton in the middle of a huge face-off. John Dutton is determined to protect the family's ranch and has no plans on selling it, leading to Beth trying to find some solutions.
In Yellowstone season 3 episode 9, things could get even uglier if John (Kevin Costner) won't take the deal over the ranch. Roarke (Josh Holloway) and Willa (Karen Pittman), in particular, are the biggest threats here as they wanted to turn the land into something commercial.
Since the patriarch of the Duttons isn't keen on taking any offer, Beth (Kelly Reilly) is left with no choice. She's going to visit Willa to have a meeting with her. And based on the preview photos, this meeting will be an intense one. Beth won't back down despite the threats her family has been receiving.
The ranch has been in jeopardy since the beginning of the season and most of the Duttons are trying to figure out how to get through all of this. While selling the land might be the best option, John vowed that he won't sell it no matter what happens.
But if they don't take the deal, there's a chance the family might lose whatever they have for good. Since there are only two episodes left this season, we could see a lot of unexpected moments here. Perhaps, the family could find a way on how to save the ranch without selling it to anyone.
As for what else is coming in Yellowstone season 3 episode 9, Jamie (Wes Bentley) has to confront his past. Recently, he found out that he is adopted and John is not his biological father. While this is painful for him, he recognized that he needs to face a part of his life that he didn't know before.
Also, Rip (Cole Hauser) has to deal with his own problems and he's going to talk to Kayce (Luke Grimes) about it. The bunkhouse is facing a problem, as well, and must defend two of their own. These are just some of the stories that will be addressed in the penultimate, leading to more intense stories in the season finale.
