BTS released the B-side version of "Dynamite," which contained bloopers and funny outtakes that did not make it to the original version.
According to a report by Rolling Stone, "Dynamite" B-Side version stayed within the colorful world of the original retro-inspired video but it offered alternative angles and new clips of RM, J-Hope, Jin, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook goofing off while having fun on the shoot.
ARMYs had fun with the funky original version of the song but the B-Side version offered an even lighter take on the disco-pop track.
The B-Side version of "Dynamite" added fulfillment to BTS' promise to provide ARMYs with a much-needed break from the troubles brought on by the COVID-19 global health pandemic.
It can be recalled that, last week, fans streamed the original version of the song in full force and showed their love for BTS by tuning in to the "Dynamite" MV 101.1 million times in 24 hours.
BTS, also, made history on Spotify by being the first Korean act to top the Global 50 chart, surpassing the record of Taylor Swift for the biggest song debut on the streaming platform.
Apart from the "Dynamite" B-Side version, Big Hit Entertainment released two new versions of the track, reported Variety.
According to the label, the acoustic version features the members' powerful and clear vocals while an EDM version features a rearrangement of the original song and amps up its upbeat and fun vibe.
"Dynamite" is BTS' first English single. According to the members, they were already preparing for a new album but chose to release the track as soon as possible because they wanted to share their positive message to fans who were feeling downtrodden by the current world situation.
Because of the song's appeal, it was chosen by 94.34 percent of fans on Billboard's Favorite New Music poll as their go-to song for the week.
BTS will be performing "Dynamite" for the first time on the MTV Video Music Awards on August 30. They are nominated for this year's award show under three VMA categories, including Best Choreography, Best Pop Video, and Best Kpop.
Last year, BTS won two VMA trophies from the VMAs for Best Kpop and Best Group.
After "Dynamite," BTS announced plans to release their second album for 2020.
