BTS, NCT, SuperM, and BLACKPINK continue to do well in Billboard's World Albums Chart this week.
According to a report by Soompi, BTS' Japanese album Map of the Soul: 7 The Journey took the top of the chart on its fifth week in the rankings. The album came out in July but the physical album was released only last August 7.
BTS, also, took the third spot with Map of the Soul: 7. The album was released last February 21 and has been sitting solidly in the chart for the better part of 25 weeks.
BTS' third entry to the chart sits at No. 4. Love Yourself: Answer is celebrating an impressive 103 weeks in the World Albums chart.
BTS' Map of the Soul: Persona is at No. 6 of the chart while Love Yourself: Tear, landed on this week's eighth place.
Two more BTS albums landed on Billboard's Top 15. Love Yourself: Her positioned at No. 12 while BTS World took the 15th position.
BTS has been maintaining strong positions on Billboard's World Chart ahead of RM, J-Hope, Suga, Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook's upcoming digital single "Dynamite."
It can be recalled that BTS announced that the release of their full English single "Dynamite" will be on August 21. According to the members, the song is a fun and fresh track that seeks to energize fans and uplift their spirits during this challenging time when the world is reeling from a pandemic.
BTS is expected to perform their new track for the first time at the MTV Video Music Awards. BTS, also, announced that they will release another album before the end of the year.
NCT 127's Neo Zone maintained a solid position at No.5 on the chart, 23 weeks after its release. Stray Kids' Go Live is at No. 7 after nine weeks on the Billboard chart.
SuperM's first mini-album is at No. 9 with 43 weeks on the chart. SuperM is expected to make a fresh entry on the chart as they prepare to release their first full album, Super One, on September 25. Taemin, Baekhyun, Kai, Taeyong, Mark, Lucas, and TEN, already, dropped their first lead single "100" last August 14.
BLACKPINK's mega-hit "Kill This Love" rounded up the Top 10 of this week's Billboard World Albums Chart. The album has been on the chart for 41 weeks already. Like BTS and SuperM, BLACKPINK is, also, gearing for the release of their first full album on October 2.
