Killing Eve season 4 is, officially, happening on BBC. However, filming hasn't started at the moment due to the current global health crisis. Also, it looks like cast and crew won't be coming back on set anytime soon. In fact, Jodie Comer has no idea when they could begin working.

Speaking to TV Insider, Comer, who plays Villanelle, revealed that she knows nothing as everything is very much up in the air right now. She said they were supposed to be filming Killing Eve season 4 at this moment. However, the production didn't want to compromise the quality of the series.

Despite the filming hurdles, the actress added that the situation allows them to make sure they'll come back with the "juiciest possible season" they can create. Because of the delay, we could expect the latest installment premiering at some point in 2021.

Meanwhile, there are a lot of questions that needed to be answered once Killing Eve season 4 premieres. The season 3 finale ended with Eve (Sandra Oh) and Villanelle recognizing their darkness and trying to stay away from each other.

However, since the Twelve, the organization that employs assassins like Villanelle, is out there, the two women need to reunite. While working again is not that easy, they could eventually be back in each other's orbit at some point in the new installment.

In their final conversation, Villanelle admitted that she doesn't like what she's doing anymore. Her confession suggests that she wanted to live a life without killing for the Twelve. Eve, on the other hand, recalled what her life was like before Villanelle.

The two women may completely change because of their realizations. But, aside from this storyline, some characters are in danger in Killing Eve season 4. The third installment proved that no one is safe, at least from near death.

The Twelve remains to be the biggest adversary in the new installment. The organization is mostly hidden. So, it's not easy to take it down just like that. While Villanelle could help Eve, the biggest concern here is that the Twelve is a powerful organization.

Meanwhile, there's a question whether or not Eve's husband, Niko (Owen McDonnell), will be part of Killing Eve season 4. He's still out there even though he told Eve to leave him alone. He wanted to leave his life without his wife. But, he recognized that it won't be easy at all.
