Meghan Markle vowed to be more vocal about certain subjects after she and Prince Harry stepped down from their senior royal roles. Recently, the Duchess of Sussex talked about topics that she was not allowed to discuss before her royal exit.

A brief teaser of Meghan Markle's interview with Gloria Steinem was posted by MAKERS on social media. The Twitter post showed the leading feminist and author introducing Prince Harry's wife as Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.

Meghan Markle and Gloria Steinem discussed "representation, why each vote matters and how all women 'are linked, not ranked.'" Royal fans noted that this statement doesn't feel right with the former actress's royal title posted next to it.

"In that case why is Meghan using her rank? Seems hypocritical," one wrote. "It's not a great look to have the main quote from the interview be about women being 'linked not ranked,' and be referred to by your literal rank," another one shared.

One royal fan also wondered why Meghan Markle is talking about being equal when she was the one who insisted on using her "title of hierarchy on every occasion." They pointed out that the Duchess of Sussex doesn't want to be equal with anyone at all.

While these comments are already quite brutal, no one can criticize Meghan Markle more than her family. For instance, the Duchess of Sussex's brother, Thomas Markle Jr., said that his sister made "a joke of the Royal Family."

Meghan Markle's brother pointed out that the former actress didn't have a positive impact and was even branded as "Duchess Difficult" in the Palace. But Thomas Markle Jr. didn't end his criticism toward his half-sister through public comments, he actually wrote an open letter aimed for Prince Harry to tell him that "Meghan Markle is obviously not the right woman for you."

Thomas Markle Jr. is not the only member of the Markle clan that has publicly spoken about Prince Harry's wife. In fact, their dad, Thomas Markle Sr. said that Meghan "cheapened" the royal family and that he's embarrassed by her. He also noted that the Duchess of Sussex is not the girl that he raised.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are making a fresh start in the U.S. with their son Archie. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex officially withdrew from their senior royal roles at the end of March.
