Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are, currently, residing in Los Angeles with their son, Archie. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to the U.S. after they officially stepped down as senior royals at the end of March.

Now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no longer working royals, they will cover their own expenses, including their security bills. U.S. President Donald Trump had made it clear that the government will not pay for the couple’s security, so they have to do it themselves.

A previous report claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are asking Prince Charles to pay for their security bills. The Prince of Wales is, allegedly, paying for the couple’s round the clock security.

The insider said that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle expected that British taxpayers would continue paying for their security bills. But, after knowing that this will not happen, the couple asked Prince Charles to "step in."

That being said, it’s easy to speculate that Prince Charles is also helping fund Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new home. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, recently, moved into a new £11.2million mansion in California.

Royal commentators Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie discussed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s latest move. Just like most people, the hosts, also, wondered if Prince Charles would be helping the couple finance the new cost.

"It is interesting to think that they are paying $43,000 every month for this house,” Roberta Fiorito said, prompting Rachel Bowie to ask if Prince Charles is helping them out. Roberta, then, said that she doesn’t think the Prince of Wales is financially helping the couple, noting that "according to an insider's knowledge of it they said that there was no outside financial assistance."

Rachel Bowie, then, talked about how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s popularity as public speakers would earn them a lot of income. A previous report even claimed that the Duchess of Sussex is set to become an in-demand public speaker after stepping down from her senior royal role.

PR expert Mark Borkowski praised Meghan Markle's “remarkable delivery" and said that she could earn a substantial income from it.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said in their withdrawal announcement that they want to be "financially independent." Mark Borkowski suggested that the couple should consider the Duchess of Sussex’s talent in public speaking as they could earn “many hundreds of thousands of pounds” per speech.
